by Meredith Efken

For the members of a stay-at-home-moms' e-mail loop, lunch with friends is a sandwich in front of the computer. But where else could they discuss things like . . .

I'll admit, I was a little leery when I started this, as I am not usually a reader of fiction books marketed towards religious audiences. Happily, I found myself drawn to the characters, practically from page one, and soon discovered that, rather than being a "faith-based book", the faith was just part of who the characters *were*.

Sort of can't believe I read the whole thing! I think I'm finally coming out of my fluff stage I've been in for awhile!

I wanted something more... I'm not exactly sure what I didn't really like it. Guess I wasn't in a chick-lit mood.

Fun book. Easy to read and enjoyable. Many of the stories made me laugh out loud...of course then I had to read those parts to my husband...we had fun. This book real raised my spirits and made feel like I'm not alone. So many stay-at-home moms share the same stuggles and challenges. I really liked the email format of this book.

Very fortunate got to talk to author on the phone at my book group, so we could ask her questions and make comments. This is a great book and very reader friendly. The whole book consists of a Stay At Home Mom group's posts/replies to each other. I think any mom would really enjoy this book. Mothers can relate to atleast one of the characters in the book. It is a great look at what mothers really face in their everyday life.

Quick, fun, easy read. Really enjoyed it alot. Lots of LOL moments and some teary-eyed moments, as well.

This was one of the best books I read this year. So funny, tons of dry humor and subtexting. I especially could relate to the entire email culture.

Fun stories of early mommy-hood - the joys and trials of having toddlers in the house.
