The thought of never having to grow up, being able to escape the reality and live vicariously in partaking adventures with the flying wonder that is Peter Pan is one I live on. Too many times I have woken...” see full review » see other reviews » |

The books contains some interesting perspectives on childhood and what makes people into adults.”

It sensitively expresses the struggles children face and the issues they are concerned with, things that most of us, sadly, are forced to forget about as we grow older. Reading "Peter Pan" may help us to remember, and such remembrance may unexpectedly enrich our lives. I am grateful to Mr. Barrie for enriching mine through his story. ”

Peter pan is about to take darling kids on an adventure. J.M. Barrie has created a wonderful classic. It is read by everyone and everyone loves it.
Peter pan would take the kids on a journey to Neverland. A place were mermaids, fairies and pirates live and of course the evil Captain Hook. He has a lot of trouble on the way there and when he is there the kids want to go back home so he has to find a safe way back home. Can he do it or will Captain Hook defeat him.
A classic like this is recommended for young children due to the vocabulary and how the story and characters are described.

“I would have to say that this book, was definitely my favorite when I was younger for three reasons. One, I thought Peter Pan was awesome, because he could fly. Two, I thought that the place Netherland sounded so cool. And three, I wanted to marry Wendy which was pretty weird.
This book is about a kid named Peter Pan who suddenly one night creeps into the room of the Darlings. Wendy, Michael, and John. Peter thought he could just easily slip in and then out, but he forgot his shadow and that woke the kids up. Well, it woke up Wendy. Once Wendy and Peter talked he and Wendy’s along with her brothers set out on a adventure to the magical island, Netherland. They have their tosses and turns, and in the end... will they survive the evil Captain Hook and his crew? Or will they be killed along with the hunters they meet along the way?

“This book is called "Peter Pan" by J. M. Barrie adapted by Cathy East Dubowski. This is about Peter Pan finding a mother for him and the lost boys. He finds a girl named Windy and she agrees to be the mother. Captain Hook trys to steal her but Peter Pan and the lost boys fight back to save her. I did like this book because it always ended a chapter on a "hook." Get it, like Captain Hook. I recommend this book to anyone who can read.”
