Acknowleges the variety of reasons consumers would want to buy organic (health, political, environmental, gourmet) and gives clear facts (and some taste-test opinions) to base your shopping on. The authors understand a person has a budget and this book helps the reader make informed choices. Some of the data are old but they are also clearly marked. Not a fun read exactly, but the facts are laid out clearly for the average person to understand, and if the title interests you the book will deliver.
