“I don't usually like jumping into a book mid-series but this was recommended to me and I really enjoyed it! Dave Robicheaux is a well drawn out character and I especially love his fatherly bond with Alafair. The two settings of Louisiana and Montana were great contrasts of each other and the writing throughout was so descriptive I couldn't put it down! I'd definitely like to read more in the series!!”
