I should have dated that to see how long it sat there before I picked up the book again. I needed book to read since I hadn't gotten to the library to pick up stuff, I'm now a good quarter of the way into the book. Time really helped!
-I tried getting into this book but was not really feeling it. So its sitting there where I last left off while I moved on to another book that grabbed a hold of me immediately. I'm so shallow. ”
“Another excellent novel in the Primes series!
I adored Sofia. I thought that, although it was quite a bit to take in at the beginning for her, she adjusted quickly and quite well. Strong in mind and body, she manages to make sense of everything thrown her way and finally accepts what she is. What I thought was really neat with Sofia was how Sizemore turned her into one of us bookaholics, where Sofia even has a blog of her own where she reviews books and movies. I thought it was really touching to Sizemore's readers. Although it has a small part in the plot, I was glad for it - you don't read enough of characters who are like us book nuts, LOL!
Jason Cage is exactly as he is in previous novels, and I'm glad he doesn't change - except towards Sofia. She's the only one who can make him melt the way the reader so desperately wants for him. Strong in his own right, physically and mentally, he finally finds his bondmate with Sofia - and as the reader, you feel all of it!
Good plot, great action, with little twists and small sub-plots that the reader appreciates and they don't take away from the story at all.
Recurring characters that you know and like, evil ones that you loathe and want to 'take care of', and an argument that begins in this novel between Sidonie and Joe that I already know continues in the next novel, Primal Needs, due out in December 2008, brings promise and anticipation for anyone who loves this series.
Don't hesitate to read it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.”
“Primal Desires reacquaints you again with some of the past characters in the series and opens the door with new characters and plot developments to give this series intriguing leads to future stories. The plot pulls you in with great characters and interesting twists that make this a good and enjoyable read. My only problem with this latest novel was that it was so long in between books in the series. I was reading and trying to refresh my memory of the previous characters and plots. The story helped plug in my questionable memory with references to past dramas and characters, thank goodness. My memory bank is not as sharp as it once was, but this was still a fascinating read and I look forward to more in the Prime series from Susan Sizemore.”

Yes | No“In this 6th book in the series, a neo-Nazi organization continues to seek world domination using experimentation begun in WWII for the creation of werewolf soldiers. Sofia Hunyara’s family has long had the power to dominate and control these savage creatures, however it is a psychic gift that needs training. Vampire Prime Jason Cage uses his innate psychic abilities to help Sofia raise her talents, but that’s not all that rises between them. From the moment they meet, passion and desire flair, and they are as irresistibly drawn together as they are drawn into the dangerous conflict.
New and recurring characters keep these sexy stories fresh and entertaining, and in Primal Desires the convoluted dynamics in this world of mortals, vampires and shapeshifters continues to be intriguing.
