“Read it.
This is the final book in the Kilkenny trilogy. Many fans of this book have no idea that it is the final part of a three book saga, (even though it was actually the first one written, published around 1954, almost 20 years before the prequels were written). It is not the best of the three books, in fact I would say it is the worst of the three, but it is still an excellent book. Read one and two first. One is Awesome, Two is Awesomer, and this one is not quite as spectacular, but a good and decent and appropriate end to the saga!”
