“This was a good book i enjoyed it alot. its about a girl named kylie. Nobody really pays attention to her shes not really popular so nodoy reconizes her. Until a guy name Ian comes along. Its get so close to her and they seem they love eachother. She finds out it was just a dare or him to become an FBI member. But really inside Ian really down lover her and they end up staying together”

“ this book is ok. it is about a boy named Ian trying to get in a little club called the Fbi. He really wants to get into that club. he wants to get in it so badly that he is willing to do anything... well one of the clubs leaders challenges ian to play this girl. by play i mean get into her panties by the end of 3 weeks then leave her. well ian wants to get in the club so much that he accepts the challenge. the book is sad. frustrating. and romantic. he ends up falling for the girl hes supposed to be playing and at the end he has to make the biggest choice ever. will he pick the girl or the club hes been waiting so long to get in? read and find out!!”

“ This is a book about a guy who is dared to make a girl fall for him and sleep with her in order to join and exclusive clique in school. The girl is plain, not very pretty, and definetly not cool. Iene, the guy who is dare, is cute and popular. He has always wanted to be part of this exclusive club and wil do all he can to be in the group, even if it means hurting this girls's feeling. But he quickly begins to have feeling towards this girl. Whay will his friends say? How will he tell her? Will she forgive him?”

“This book is amazing. It's a really good pick for young african american readers, but it's good for everyone. It has a little bit of everything in this book, some romance, comedy, and lots of drama. I loved this book, it's a quick read so it's really fun to back and reread.”

“If you loved Jason and Kyra (and I mean, really, who didn't?) then you will love Played. The book is set at the same high school and Jason and Kyra even make a brief appearance in this book.

Trying to join an elite clique at high school, a boy takes on the challenge/bet of trying to get a not-so-pretty girl to both sleep with him and fall in love with him. Of course, he gets to know her and realizes that she is really sweet and that he likes her, but he knows that she will never fit in with his popular friends.
Excuse my mediocre rating. Students, you will love it. I gave it that rating because it was SO much like Jason and Kyra that I thought the plot was too predictable. In fact, to me, it was pretty much a retelling of J and K with different characters.”
