Alex DeBate edited the settings of A Dance with Dragons Friday, October 14, 2011.
- Edited the description of Westeros: A South American sized continent located West of Essos. It is home to 'Western" civilization, mimicking that of medieval Europe. It is a diverse land, divided into three specific regions. The North is ruled by the ancient House Stark, descendants of the First Men. The South (This name is really a misnomer, since 'The South' actually lies in Central Westeros) is home to the capital of Westeros, King's Landing, and the Royal Family. The richests lands and bounties come from The South. The third region is Dorne, a hot, desert land under the rule of the Martells.
- Edited the description of Beyond-the-Wall: The land north of The Wall. Home to the Wildlings, also know as the Free Folk. It is a mysterious land, rumoured to be home to Giants, Mammoths, and other darker evils.
- Edited the description of The Wolf's Den: An ancient fortress
thatin White Harbor, originally built by the Starks centuries ago. It now serves as a prison nowfor High-Born captives. - Edited the description of Moat Cailin: Moat Cailin is known as the key to the North. It is the first stronghold at The Neck, serving to protect the sole passageway through the marshes.
- Edited the description of The Smoking Sea: The desolate sea around the wastelands of Valyria. The Smoking Sea is always red, as if in sunset or sunrise.
- Edited the description of Bay of Seals: The body of water seperating the island of Skagos from continental Westeros.
- Edited the description of Iron Islands: The home of the Iron Men.
- Edited the description of Great Wyk: The largest Island of the Iron Islands.
