Characters/People edit see section history

  • Amaiya of Ganterwood: Fiery and apt to speak without thinking, Amaiya loves horses as well as all animals and shows inherent talent with the sword. She and her twin Araiya often talk by finishing each other's sentences.
  • Araiya of Ganterwood: Shy and thoughtful (the exact opposite of Amaiya), Araiya wishes to be an artist and is dismayed when she is chosen to be a warrior. Nevertheless, she is a master archer with a talent that matches her sister's.
  • Jake of Ganterton: The humble son of the town drunk, Jake is strong and steady, also talented with the sword as well as singing while playing his voice-of-the-wind.
  • Princess Henrietta: Spoiled princess. She's good with a dagger, is generally obnoxious, and is very pretty. That's about it.
  • Zahalamaca of T'aalun: The elegant Eldonian, kidnapped in infancy by the evil enchanter Ostello and held in bondage. She carries around a magical lamp and sings beautifully, a voice that matches her appearance.
  • Ostello: The evil enchanter who stole the magical jewels, kidnapped and killed Prince Joshua (along with many other royal children from various countries), and abducted King Daragon. It is the children's mission to defeat him.
