“Really great story. I enjoyed this book a lot. I am excited to read the 2nd one but can't get my hands on it. Went to the library and put it on hold. I had no idea how popular this series is.”

This isn't a cheesy old Western, but a heartfelt, eye-opening view into the world of western pilgrims and indians. Sarah is strong, brave, and a true woman of the west. I couldn't imagine being so capable. This romance is a great read. ”

“I really enjoyed Sarah! She's a hoot, tough as nails, no nonsense kind of woman! She's a wonderful character and I just loved reading about her life in Arizona at the end of the 19th century. Jack is also a wonderful love interest for her; he's just perfect! I was laughing, crying, and cheering through the whole thing! The only reason I won't give it a five is that there were some parts I found a bit slow, but that's life for ya...not everything can be high-adventure day in and day out! ”

“Great book if you can get past the first 10 pages of a very hard to read dialect. I really enjoyed the relationships between characters and even had to go back an reread parts after I was finished with the book. ”

Soon, it grabbed me and the grammar no longer is an issue. Suddenly I realized that Sarah's writing skill improved with practice. A wonderful story - I felt that a good friend had moved away when I closed the back cover and finished the book.”
