“Gripping story and an easy read. It's well written but sometimes I felt that, even in the midst of all the sorrow the main character sees in her life, it was a little overly romanticized. Some of the events between the main character and her love interest Jack felt a little contrived. They were always rescuing each other from really dangerous and dramatic situations. Other than that, great story and it made me feel a lot of sympathy for my ancestors who settled the Arizona territories.”
