  • Dr. Megeara "Geary" Kafieri/Saatsakis: Dr. Megeara Kafieri watched her father ruin himself and his reputation as he searched to prove Atlantis was real. Her deathbed promise to him to salvage his reputation has now brought her to Greece where she intends to prove once and for all that the fabled island is right where her father said it was. Acheron helped her grandfather.
  • Arik: A Dream-Hunter; the main male character of this book
  • Soteria (Tori): Geary's fifteen year old cousin who is obsessed with all things Greek, knowledgeable Greek gods, and enjoys reading ancient texts.
  • Katra "Kat" Agrotera: Servant of Artemis; sent by her to watch over the progress of Geary's team and stop them from uncovering Atlantis
