“I had never read anything by Hornby and it's probably a bad way to start... I thought the concept of the book was clever and interesting, but it's strange reading throughout the book that Hornby dislikes book critics whereas the book itself is a collection of his opinions on books. There's books he talks about that seem interesting to look into, and he often asks good questions about the act of reading. Overall a nice read, but you kind of lose track if you try to read it all at once.”
