I didn't like the end either. And though so far I've loved Mosley's work (I've only read Blonde Faith, Fortunate Son and The Tempest Tales), sometimes I can't help but think he's pretty misoginous. Anyway, I think he is a great writer and I love the way he conceives human nature. His view on racism is precise and interesting and the erotic parts are really interesting to say the least.

I loved this book...but I didn't like the ending. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it.

I also really enjoyed this book. Weren't you a little disappointed by the ending, though? I don't see this character giving up so easily...
