She's back -- that loveable mess Bridget Jones. And this sequel is almost better than the original, as Bridget learns to rely on her own intuition rather than her loving, yet misguided friends (who're really just as much of a mess as she) and those endless "self-help" books that women over thirty are drawn too. Hilarious and fun.

What a disappointment this was! Fielding is still an excellent comedic author in my mind, but I couldn't even finish it properly. After 3 or so chapters I simply started skimming it for plot points, then waited for the film to be released and filled in the blanks that way. It just felt so forced to me. (As did the film, thought that was fun to watch.)

Il n'empèche que ces péripéties me rappelle m'a vie c'est ce qui est plaisant dans ce genre de livre pouvoir s'indentifier ! ( meme s'il est tout à fait possible de le faire avec d'autres livres :))
