Liked It “Some friends with children thought so highly of this book that they bought me a copy and mailed it to me from Montana! It is quite readable and was very helpful in understanding my wife during our "expecting" time and early parenthood. Didn’t Like It “I read this one along with my husband when I was pregnant. He quickly dubbed it "The Book of Lies" - mainly because we weren't going through anything the same as was described in the book - we later found out it was because we were having twins. I am sure it is a good book for a dad learning...” see full review » see other reviews » |

I am sure it is a good book for a dad learning to deal with his wife's singleton pregnancy but we both generally disliked the book. ”

“We had it in the house, but no one read it. Which isn't a fair assessment, but a book needs something to draw you in, and this one didn't have anything to help anyone pick it up.”

“Pretty good. A lot of information on how to be supportive of your wife during the preganancy. To be honest though, pregnancies are all so different that your mileage may vary. This book is somewhat more pragmatic than others about what hormones will do to women.”
