What I liked most about this book is the way it is based on Sleeping Beauty but then verges off and brings new light into this character. I liked the ending. Glad she found her love after all even if he doesn't awaken her with a kiss but with much more than a kiss.....

A retelling of Sleeping Beauty for young adults. I might have enjoyed this as a teen, but I found it rather dull in a lot of parts. It's not so bad, but the narrative was too teen-y for me, so I didn't enjoy it much. In fairness, it did have an interesting twist at the end, though I'm not sure how I feel about it. I won't be reading any of the other books in this series.
