• This book for those of you have read or heard of Arabian Nights is a retelling of that. A king loses his love and so to prevent himself from being hurt again he promises never to love again. He sets up a contest among the young beautiful ladies in his kingdom. Each one of them is spend one night with the king. He will continue this process every month. The one that he likes the most will be his queen. Each one that fails will be killed. Along comes the story teller's daughter. She tells him a story on the first and adds to it each night after that. The king falls in love with her but feels betrayed when he realizes that she is merely trying to save her own live. In the end he must chose whether to kill her or make her his queen. Wonderful story.
