  • Mary Anne Spier: Club secretary due to her organizational skills and neat handwriting. She is known for being very quiet and often seems to lack confidence. She is best friends with Dawn and Kristy.
  • Logan Bruno: Logan moved to Stoneybrook from Louisville, and Mary Anne has a crush on him.
  • Kristy Thomas: President of the club, 12 years old, and in the 7th grade. She is known for her bossiness, ideas, and for being a tomboy.
  • Claudia Kishi: Vice-president of the club. She is known for being very creative and artistic. The club official headquarters is in her room because she was the only member with a private phone line.
  • Stacey McGill: Club treasurer. Stacey is originally from New York, loves fashion, and is talented in math and science. She is diabetic, and is best friends with Claudia.
  • Dawn Schafer: Alternate Officer in the Baby-Sitter's Club. She is best friends with Mary Anne and recently moved from California with her mom and brother, Jeff.
  • Richard Spier: Mary Anne's dad. He has always been over-protective, but he has been slowly been acknowledging that Mary Anne is not a little girl anymore.
  • Jackie Rodowski: A baby-sitting charge that Mary Anne and Logan care for.
