Roberta Prices shares beautiful and evocative photographs of the Western (Colorado/New Mexico) commune scene in the early 1970's when she and her partner drove from commune to commune, checking them out, photographing them, and eventually settling for a spell in Libre, a commune in South Eastern Colorado. Along with the photos she writes a bit of text to set the scene or unpack a detail you may miss without her commentary. The photos are great, romantic, but realistic as well. It doesn't seem like an easy life.
