One learns much about 'the African way and attitudes to life' when reading this. It is a story of real life, with a touch of compassion and humour.”

Now I see there are even more--YAY! I shall have to hit the book stores! This series is absolutely wonderful and the first season on HBO was wonderful too, following the books very closely! A must read for everyone!”

I'm not usually all that interested in "the cases" after all and little time is wasted on those this time around. I loved the dancing school chapters but even more, Mr. Polopetsi is a wonderul addition to the regular cast. It's also good to see Mma Ramotswe struggle over what to di - it makes her less iconic. this was a lovely diversion. Grade: A”
