• Wendy Luella Everly: A Seventeen year old girl who just does not fit in. Has a traumatic past and 'anger issues' Wendy has curly, dark, untameable hair and brown eyes. Despises shoes. Eats vegan and is quite emotional, a semi-Mary Sue. Main character and narrator.
• Finn Holmes: Newer to the school than Wendy and a fellow classmate. Has extremely dark brown eyes and is always staring at Wendy. Sexy
• Matt Everly: Wendy's older brother. Very protective over Wendy and loves her very much. Matt named Wendy.
• Maggie Everly: Wendy's aunt and legal guardian of Matt and Wendy. Over-affectionate and enthusiastic. Tries to provide a 'normal' life for Matt and Wendy, not overly involved in their lives.
• Elora Dahl: Queen of the Trylle, cold, bitchy, and Wendy's mom.
• Rhys Dahl: Human in the palace.
• Willa Strom: Wendy's friend, Trylle, Marksinna. Very talkative and enthusiastic. Can control the wind. Friendly, well dressed and happy to be spoiled and royalty.
• Tove Kroner: Son Of Aurora,Trylle Markis. Very powerful. Relatively likable. Has difficulty focusing if not using his powers.
• Jen: A big muscled guy who is part of the Vittra (another Troll society). He knows and resents Finn. He tries to kidnap Wendy.
• Garrett Strom: Trylle Markis, Willa's father, possible love interest for Elora.
• Rhiannon: Willa's mansklig, Human in the Trylle village.
• Kim: Wendy's "human" mother who has mental issues and tries to kill Wendy with a knife on her 6th birthday. Convinced Wendy is not her child.
• Patrick: Not really a friend of Wendy, he is a kid from biology. A kind and awfully sincere boy. 17 years old like Wendy.
• Aurora Kroner: Trylle Marksinna, Tove's mother, a healer. Bitchy, in competition with the queen. Snide and passive - aggressive.
• Mr. Meade: History Teacher who enjoys slamming books into desk to startle sleeping students. The cliche and typical bad guy teacher.
• Noah Kroner: Husband of Aurora. Markis Is the father of Tove.
