Its worth the price just to find out

I can not say if Wayne Dyer is sincere, part Elmer Gantry or just someone who knows how to write and market material that will bring him millions of dollars. But what I do know is I took the advice of this easy to read book, and along with a few other books with similiar subjects, began seeing my life unfold as I wished it to. I also was able to look back on my life and see patterns I never took notice of before. So regardless of what your first impression is of this subject matter, and mine was negative, it is worth the price of the book to read it, give it 6 months, and see what happens.

    The Power of Intention

I purchased this book on the recommendation of Cesar Millan.
Being a Cesar Millan-Dog Whisperer fan who has raised my puppy using "Cesar's Way"
has been so successful and exciting for us both. Any advice Cesar has is taken and used to
total satisfaction. No regret whatsoever for buying the book to add to my "Cesar Millan-Dog
Whisperer Tool Chest" I am enjoying Dr Dyer's book and have been trying to initiate some of
    his idea's into my life.
Would recommend this book to other's along with "Cesar's Way" and the other two books
that Cesar has----new one coming out soon for anyone thinking of getting a puppy!! Know Dr.Dyer
will appreciate Cesar's recommendation as much as those of us who got the book because of Cesar.

    Fantastic

It's the first Dyer's book I read. I am delighted. One of the best books I read in ten years.

    Good Intentions

Dr. Dyer's "Intentions" are good - I believe that. I followed his recommendation and started reading the last chapter of the book - a basic narrative of people who are interconnected to the "Source." I bought the book because the doctor actually did have good things say. This is one book I had to stop reading. This is a metaphysical primer. I'm not sure if I ever met a person who lives their life with as a high degree outlined in this book. The "Source," well that's a highly blanket and speculative term. Clearly that can apply to any of the three major monotheistic religions. The reason I had to drop this book is because my mind actually went numb reading the obvious repeat language - those who are connected to the "Source" or, "connector people" over and over and over again. Dr. Dyer does mention God but not from his perspective. He does use the phrase "divine Source." The "Connector" people don't get angry, jealous, egotistical they now exactly how to live life; they have everything they need and so on. If there is an absolute good "Source" providing all our needs than there's an potent adversary, the evil "Source" that people tap into to get what they want and win all the time. Get my drift. It's a rather small book for a rather complex world and not recommended for teenagers.

The man who knows too little

This is without a doubt the most boring piece of tripe I have ever read! The title "The power of intention" should be changed to "the power of my ego". For one, Dyer rehashes stuff from previous books over, and over, and over.....I figure he just wants to keep making bucks by trying to convince everyone he is evolved. Secondly, the Power of Intention as he describes it sounds very much like positive thinking vs. power of the mind to create reality. Even if I misunderstand his "intention" how is it that so many people in the world are unable to tap into this and create a life free of disease, or hunger, or abuse? I liked Dyer better before he became evolved!! In his first book, "your erroneous zones" he at least put forth the ideas that actually represent who he is: someone who wants what he wants. I found that book more useful because it encouraged us to ditch useless thought patterns that hold us back. Wake up Wayne!! This psudo-religious stuff you're into now is an act.
