It has a African American man named Jackie Robinson who came from a poor family without a dad. Then he started playin sports all the time when he was a child, then in his highschool years he bacame an all around-athlete. Then many colleges sent him request for him to play baseball for them. He even went to the military once. Then he marries a girl named Rachel. but through all these times he has to deal with discrimination and racism, then he had a a baby boy by her. And then he finnally joined the Brooklyn, Dodgers; but you have to read on to find out what else happens.

  • Branch Rickey: He is the man who owned the Brooklyn, Dodgers. He helped Jackie become the first negro to play Major League baseball.
  • Rachel Robinson: Her and jackie got married and then had a child together
  • Matthew "Mack" Robinson: Was the older brother of Jackie. Who got a silver medal in the Olympics
  • Reese "Pee Wee Reese ": He helped Jackie fight discrimination in his first year of playing with whites.
  • Frank Robinson: Frank was not related to Jackie actually. He just relates to him cause Jackie is his idol. And he to respects what Jackie did for blacks in baseball like i do. From what he had to go through all the way to his success.
  • Willa Mae Robinson: She was Jakie's older sister
  • Sharon Robinson: Is Jackie and Rachel's child. She is still alive and around now in days
