“Julie is hard working news anchorwoman and a single mom, Sean is a crack investigative reporter who always tries to out scoop Julie. After running into each other at an ugly murder scene, these two rivals end up as unlikely partners.

This was the first Maggie Shayne book that I have read. I felt that there was a few times that a thesaurs could have been used better than it was but this book was very interesting. The suspense was there, a few suprises along the way, and the descriptions were vivid. I am looking forward to the 2nd book of this series.”
“A good story line. Not much background setting descriptions, just a fast paced quick read thriller. Quick read recommendation.”

“Okay my friend recommended this book to me a couple days ago and i didn't get around to reading until about 9:45 last night. I'm done. I finished this book at 7:24pm and stayed up till one o'clock reading only going to sleep because I had to host a baby shower today. Read this book! The plot line is so intricate that it is one of those books where even though if you focus you can tell whats gonna happen you're still shocked when it does. 5 stars for me! and that's saying something!
