This book was absolutely amazing. It is probably one that I would not have picked up on my own just because it is not something I would normally read, but I am so glad that I did. I was drawn into the story within the first few sentences. Marie Belanger is married to a Navy lieutenant who has just finished his tour in Japan. They are headed back to the states but Marie is going back first while Pierre finishes up the last few details. In her travels Marie runs into a few problems in that...
