- Fancy: the heroine who has found herself alone after losing the last member of her family, her brother George was shot in an accident by his commanding officer, Lucian who is now her guardian and is seducing her at least he was till he found out that she is his ward.
- Lucian: Fancy's late brother George's commanding officer who he had set as Fancy's guardian when Lucian accidentally shot him during a drug enduced fit.
- Roslyn: friend of Fancy's who is staying at Fancy's to flee certain death after her step brother is found out to be scheming to marry her then kill her for the inheritance she has.
- Derek: friend of Lucians who has a liking for Miss Roslyn. . (another story !)
- Christian: an enemy of Lucians who wants to marry fancy whose father raped Lucians mother and caused all sorts of trouble for Lucians family,
