I thought it did a better job of laying out the philosophy behind the parenting style and stressed the importance of training your children well in the early years.
I am a fan of the Love & Logic parenting style and I can already see how it would greatly benefit one of my boys (10 months old now). This would have been the perfect way for me to have been parented as well.
I really think that this philosophy is great for all kids, but there are some kids who really need a parenting style like this. If you have a strong willed child, or one who really just likes to do things their own way, you need to read it!”
“The best handbook on dealing with little children. Love the tips - they really work.”

I thought that the subject manner was great and the concepts they present really do work in everyday parenting. I do however feel that some of it is "dumbed" down which is why I would take away half a star. If you're a parent or will ever deal with children you need to read this book!”

The best part is, unlike a lot of parenting books, this book is entertaining. If you have kids, this one is a must read. But if you don't have time to read they have a 2 hour DVD called Painless Parenting for the Preschool Years which is great too! (www.loveandlogic.com, or check it out at the library)”
