“In reading books of fiction by E. Lynn Harris, I found myself being enlightened about gay life and relationships. Although the gay life style is not my way of life, the story was great. In all relationships, you should be true to yourself and the other person(s) involved.

In this story and others by Mr. Harris, I loved the way he acknowledged the different seasons. The descriptions were so vivid, it was as if I were actually there. For that matter, I could visualize so many scenes throughout the book(s). The way he described colors, fragrances and the content of the surroundings was awesome. I tried so hard to read this slowly to make it last longer, but it was sooo good I could not put it down.
"Abide With Me", is a wonderful story about friends, family and their relationships. I have loved the characters since the beginning for the exception of Yancey, but she has met her match with Basil. They both could have read some books by Iyanla Vanzant. Too bad the story of Raymond, Trent, Nicole and Jared had to end with this one. I am looking forward to the next book!
If you have not read any books by E. Lynn Harris you have really missed a good story.
