It goes very detailed into Elliot’s “other” life he had, and the struggles and problems he had to deal with. The book explains all the problems with having the Woodstock concert in their town, along with events that almost canceled the whole festival.
I really enjoyed the book, because I enjoy music like classic rock music. I like a lot of the bands that played at Woodstock, and I found it very interesting with how many people attended concert to hear the music I like to listen to today. Hearing about people’s views on Woodstock was very interesting too. A quote I found very interesting was, “ The journey is more important than the destination.” This stands out to me, because you cannot just be at the destination you have to have a journey to get there.
I would really recommend this book to anyone who enjoys music, especially from the 60’s and 70’s. It is a very good book if you want to learn more about Woodstock. You learn about different peoples views on the Concert happening in their town.
