“I have enjoyed watching DESTINATION TRUTH for a long time, and it’s interesting seeing the man behind the host. Josh Gates is obviously a very intelligent, witty, and adventurous soul. This memoir was not necessarily just a rehashing of old investigations (though those were included). It actually delved into Josh’s motivations for doing what he does, for the risks he takes. And, again, it’s extremely comical. I feel as though I have seen a little bit behind the veil of what is shown on television, experienced some of the hardships of just getting where he and his team have to go. Overall, great memoir, great backstory as to the beginnings of DT, and overall a fun ride.”
