This book is a satellite’s view beginning first from out in space looking down at the earth, then moving down to an air plane view, then to a bird’s eye view and lastly to a boy’s eye view into a magnifying glass.
Illustrations are made with paper cut into various shapes and pilled to shape the images. Jenkins paper art illustrations are truly amazing. It is part of the charm of his books. The mood is informational and interesting.
Uses for the book: Read aloud and to use as a reference for information on various animals and insects.
