• Richard Novak: Richard is a very wealthy divorce who lives an almost totally isolated life until he suffers a health scare. Only then does he start to remember the important people in his life.
• Cynthia: A woman Richard finds in the produce crying and having a meltdown. She is burnt out taking care of her family and getting absolutely no thanks or appreciation. she and Richard become an essential support system and they help each other with their trials and tribulations.
