Once Aidan O’Conner lived the life of the famed as a well-known celebrity, now he lives the life of a recluse by choice after those around him has betrayed him. Content in his life of solitude until a stranger comes knocking on his door. She seems familiar – someone he has seen in his dreams. Leta, a dream goddess, is forced into the human realm and into Aidan’s life. His anger and resentment will fuel her powers. Both Aidan and Leta will need to rely on the one power that neither has much of these days – trust - to defeat a mutual heartless enemy. I love Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunters and now Dream Hunters. This novel was not as intense as some others. It's paperback and shorter than her other novels. It was a holiday novel hence the title. I enjoyed it the Scrooge likeness to the story.
