We can never say for whom the bell tolls...all of us are just waiting in the line, while battling for our dear life. In the middle of life's greatest wars, we savor each moment of borrowed breath. Until the end, life is a struggle we all want to win over.

Didn’t Like It

This book deeply disappointed me. I knew it's one of his classic and most well-known works, so after reading A Farewell to Arms and A Moveable Feast I couldn't have been more excited to read this one. It's portrayal of war struck me as more old-era (think WW1 minus nations and money plus guerilla warfare) than anything, the love story felt rushed and untrue to life. But what bothered me most was the way he used Spanish: I'm convinced that he wrote the dialogue in Spanish and then...
