Picked up this book by recommendation and I am I so glad I did. The writing is spectacular. It's a fabulous take on the vampire genre, compelling, balanced with romance and action.

Didn’t Like It

Not a bad series. Then again, not a great series either. It'll probably be taking a trip to the UBS as my book shelves are strating to protest. It's a vamp romance that has some originality to the whole vampire myth, but Adrian's execution (and writing style) leave something to be desired. Perhaps J.R. Ward has ruined me when it comes to other authors' portrayals of vampire fiction. Oh well...

    I have read all of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series that she has out and I have yet to be disappointed. This one of the series is my particular favorite so I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes the vampire thing.
