Any regular reader knows that BASS series consistently produces some great short stories. This is no exception. I'd like to highlight a few for those of you who want to jump in and out of the collection. My favorites were Tartt's "The Ambush", Ryan's "So Much for Artemis", Hemon's "The Conductor", and Bezmozgis's "A New Gravestone for an Old Grave". (That last one is a great title, no?)
