  • Erin Foley: A tax and estate law attorney, she's engaged to Aiden and the sister of Marcie Buchanan.
  • Paul Haggerty: Married to Vanni, he is a building contractor and runs the family business' office in Virgin River. Father to Matt and Hannah.
  • Hope McCrea: Townswoman who is responsible for attracting more people to Virgin River, such as Mel and Noah.
  • Kelly Matlock: A sous chef for a large restaurant in San Francisco, she joins her sister, Jillian, and two other friends for an annual vacation each fall. She's 32-years old.
  • Jillian Matlock: A VP of corporate communications for a software giant, she, her sister Kelly and two of her friends take an annual vacation together every fall. She's 31-years old.
  • Denny Cutler: Young man, just separated from the Marines, who is looking for his biological father. He's staying with Jack and Mel in the meantime while job searching. He has reason to believe his father lives in the area...he doesn't know who he is or his name.
  • Colin Riordan: One of the Riordan brothers
  • Tom Booth: Vanni's brother who is attending West Point. He's engaged to Brenda.
  • Walt Booth: Retired 3-star general who lives in Virgin River. He's father to Vanni and Tom and Shelby's maternal uncle. He's in a serious relationship with Muriel St. Claire.

  • John "Preacher" Middleton: Married to Paige, he's the cook at Jack's Bar. He added on to the building to expand the rear portion for his family, including son Christopher and daughter Dana.
  • Paige Middleton: Preacher's wife and mother of Christopher and Dana.
  • Patrick "Paddy" Riordan: Youngest of the Riordan brothers
  • Dan Brady: Former marijuana grower, now a foreman for Paul's construction company. He's romantically involved with Cheryl Creighton. He's completely reformed and has many friends in Virgin River.
  • Noah Kincaid: Presbyterian minister who bought the town's abandoned church from Hope off of eBay, renovated it and started a ministry. He's married to Ellie and they are renovated their home and raising her two children, Danielle and Trevor.
  • Art Cleary: 30-year old man with Down syndrome who stays in one of Luke's cabins and works for him. Luke found him when he was homeless and took him in and cares for him.
  • Sean Riordan: One of the Riordan brothers, he's married to Franci and father of Rosie. He's assigned to Montgomery, AL while he attends Air Command and Staff College.
  • Darlene: Dane's sister and co-owner of their coffee shop, Loving Cup.
