  • Nigel: Nigel was an attractive seventeen year old Student. He was 6'3" tall, and he weighed in at 180 pounds. He was an only child, who had planned to attend Howard University in Wash., D.C. after he graduated from high school. Unforunately, he contracted AIDS, through sexual relations with an older man that he trusted as his friend, and he died of AIDS before he could enroll in Howard University.
  • Frank: Frank was mentoring Nigel, and he treated him as a brother.
  • Melvin: Melvin was an older man that the Author met at his Church, who took him under his wing, and ultimately, he was the cause of young King's divorce from his wife.
