Finally finished all three books. I didn't expect to like 19Q4 especially as it is a lengthy read (with a slow, trailing last 1/3), but I did - that is except the ending... for some reason (ignoring previous Murakami experiences) I expected (felt entitled to) more explanations. Nicely rounded - ending mirrors beginning. Quirky love story. Interesting references to both real and fictional literature and art in general (Chehov, Sibelius, Tom Collins, Faye Dunaway, "On The Beach" and so on). Very well written - descriptive but not too flowery.

Is that "19Q4" intentional? And yeah, stress the word "finally" (haven't got there yet), and "descriptive"... descriptive but slow!
