“I don't usually like Ursula, I find her books very unfriendly to the reader, but to my surprise I quite enjoyed this one. The exploration of a culture in which everyone can be both male and female, combined with a harsh, anti-human environment and what kinds of society that could lead to, were fascinating. The narrator was a bit of a punk, though.”
