One of my top five books. It's the sequel to The Sight. It's dark and about the story of Larka's brother, Fell who goes on a journey to discover who he is.

I was surprised by this book. "The Sight" was my favorite thing in the world when I was in junior high, and now, as s a college student, I decided to read "Fell" for kicks and absolutely hated it. It seemed silly, as if it were trying far too hard. It was definitely one of the preachiest books...

David Clement-Davies has written a great exciting fantasy. This great story has something that usually fantasy book don’t have. This story is all about having the sight, which is a magical power that is very hard for any kind of animal or human being to have in the book. It helps you communicate with other kinds of animals, be able to control their mind and look into their mind. Alina the main character a orphan was saved by a shepherd, which knows that Alina was wanted dead, from the orders of Lord Valderan (the lord of the city). He only saved her because he wanted a slave but after he found out that soilders are all around looking for Alina. So he tries to kill Alina. She now is wanted dead from two people but with the help of her little friend Mai the shepherd’s granddaughter Alina was able to escape and meet Fell another main character that is a lone black wolf (Male) in her Journey to the wild. Because both, Fell and Alina has the sight it made them able to talk to each other and had a great bond between one anotehr. Alina found out that Fell was here to help her parents and destiny. Mean while Lord Valderan and the Shepherd is still-hunting Alina down. Read this amazing book to find out what will happen to Alina, and will Fell is able to help is dear little friend. I am sure that you will love this book if you like a mix of fantasy and historical fiction.

I love Davie's take on life and its burdens. As a girl, it is really easy to relate to Alina, for these days many teenagers (not just girls though) have the problem of finding who they are. It really makes you think from a different perspective.

David Clement-Davies is my favorite author. This sequel was very good, the wolf Fell, from The Sight, was my favorite character, and to read from his perspective was full of emotion and the desire to try to make the right decisions.

A slow long read. Like sight it was over descriptive but not as much.
Reading through fells eyes was more interesting and i think that the jumping between alina and fell made it that bit more enjoyable. I like how the old characters are still in this one.
Overall fell was a far better read than the sight and if it wasnt so slow and descriptive i would read it again and again.

    Sequel to "The Sight"
    GENRE

Fell is a story of a lone black wolf and a girl named Alina. Alina has been raised by a mean man named Malduk, his horrible wife, Ranna, and their poor sweet niece Mia. Malduk and Ranna told Alina that they found her in the snows by herself and that the Turks were attempting to kill her, so the only way to hide her from them was to dress her as a boy and make her work in the fields. One day Mia came across some parchment that proved that Alina had been ordered to be killed by one Lord Vladeran's men for somehow betraying them when she was just a child. Alina has to run away and escape Malduk and Ranna before they can try to murder her. She runs into the forest and meets the black wolf, Fell and finds they can communicate through a power called the Sight.
Fell travels with Alina to a village where she was told she would be safe as she escapes Lord Vladeran's men who have learned that she is still alive and traveling with a black wolf. Alina goes to a blacksmith's house where her trustworthy friend told her she would be safe there until the winter passes. Alina comes to love the blacksmith, Lescu, like the father she never had and the blacksmith's son, Catalin, like her best friend. Lescu teaches her the arts of a sword and the ways of a warrior. Alina learns that she is the rightful heir to the land of Castelu and she must travel there with Fell. One day when Alina came back from a walk in the forest she sees that tragedy has struck the home and she must leave to Castelu with Catalin immeadiately.
Fell must get back to his home to aid his dying father and defend his pack from the Vengrid, an evil wolf pack. Alina goes to the Helgra, a town of wolf worshipers, to have them join her in her journey to attack the castle and rid everyone of the horrible Lord Vladeran. Fell tries to help his pack and protect them from harm but he is not sure if he wants to anymore due to his life's own problems. Alina is kiddnapped by Vladeran and the Helgra, Catalin, and Fell must save her while an ancient prophecy begins to be fulfilled. You must read the book to learn what happens now...
