“The genius of Alan Moore is that he can be so wrong and so right at the same time, Barbara Gordon's maiming is I beleve an inexcusable mistake, most notably in the fact that she is a much beloved character AS BATGIRL(not to belittle her role as Oracle). Yet, this is probably the best Joker story ever written, and certainly one of the few Batman stories that can be widely acknowledged as the best. The art is perfect as well.
