SUMMARY: Trevor’s latest collection of short stories examines the lives of ordinary people and the moral questions that are thrown their way. APPEAL: Perhaps true of most short story collections, I would suggest reading each story in one sitting. The language is precise and measured; like poetry every word carries weight and should not be missed.
