“I didn't enjoy this one as much as some of her (their) others. I grew frustrated with the mother (perhaps because I don't have children of my own so it's difficult to relate)?”

The book takes place over the course of one day--starting in the morning when Nina finds that her daughter, Charlie, has failed to return home after a sleepover on the day that they are supposed to go on holiday. Nina contacts the police but ultimately she is the one that does the investigating because she doesn't feel that the police are acting fast enough. Nina is my hero! The book is fast paced and you don't really want to put it down. And the bad thing is there are no chapters so you can't come to a convenient stopping place. :)”

It gave interesting insight into a teenager's life and was very believable. I wasn't especially satisfied by the ending as I sort of felt "oh, so **** did it", when I like books that make me say "WOW, I can't believe it!"”
