“i like this from this book i would like to share it with you people "if we don't change, we could lose our jobs. not only that : i don't want to work in a place with no energy or life. i know what it will do to me over time , and the picture is not pretty.what kind of a mother would i be if i let that happen?what example would i set ? if i launch the change process on Monday , the first step must be for me to choose my attitude. I choose faith . I must trust that whatever happens i will be all right.I'm a survivor; I've proven that. I will be all right,whatever happens. it's time to clean up the toxic energy dump. Not just beacuse it would be good for business- al though i believe it will be great for business .And not just because i have been challenged to solve the problem - that is an important reason ,but its an external issue. The complelling reason to move ahead comes from my inside. I need to renew my faith in myself; taking this problem will help me do just that .--------------Life is too precious to spend any time at all, much less half of my waking hours,in a toxic energy dump. I don't want to live like that , and I am sure my associates will feel the same way once they have a recognizable choice. The culture in my department has been the way it is for a long time . In order to change the culture, I will need to take personal risks with no assurance of success .This could be a blessing . Recent events have shaken my faith in myself and taking the necessary risks could help me renew my faith . The fact is that the risk of doing nothing is probably greater than the risk of acting .somewhere in my files is material which contains a message that could be timely. Ineed to find that message because I need all the help I can get. ”
