“Not as good as the first. Just so angsty! And dramatic. And kind of boring. But I guess if you like soap operas this might appeal to you. ”Luisa M wrote this review Friday, March 29, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Finishing this book was kind of heartbreaking. it was sad in so many ways because it felt like i was getting pushed out of the life i had come to be a part of. The book itself though was amazing, it showed that no matter how famous you are you still have feelings just like everyone else. Rage, love and loss are a huge part of this book. To anyone who has read 'if i stay' do take the time to give this a read because its well worth it.”Emily H wrote this review Sunday, March 24, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? “Cool read about Adam Wilde, a newly minted rock star in crisis. The crisis is what made him a star, but now it is eating him up. Then, he runs into Mia, the cause of his crisis.
I thought it was a fairly insightful read, a look into the role music and love (and grief) play in REAL musicians' lives. The stereotypes were explored, but with common sense, so overall, I recommend this book. While the protagonist is a guy, I think girls will find the focus on heartbreak and memories more appealing -- BUT I could be and hope I am wrong.”
“This book is the sequel to If I Stay. Mia and Adam reunite after three years of not talking. They discuss how they broke up and why.If you liked the first book you will like this book.”Rachel H wrote this review Wednesday, June 19, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“I can't believe it took me so long to read this series! I enjoyed this one even more than the first. One of the best books I've read that is written from a guys perspective. I wont be writing a full review because this book has already been guest reviewed on my blog but I wanted to share those few thoughts.”Born Bookish wrote this review Saturday, February 23, 2013. Time has changed quite a bit and the beginning of the novel we find Adam lost and floundering through a rock star life. Mia has become a professional cellist after graduating Julliard early. The two have not seen each other in years, but they will meet for an unforgettable night of sadness and redemption. Will they be able to overcome the past? Will they have a future?
Themes: Love, Loss, Relationship, Grief, Overcoming tragedy, Depression, Music, Decisions and their Consequences
This book could be used in a book discussion group with students that are looking for more reading opportunities. There is a lot dissect in Mia’s actions over the last few years and Adam’s as well.

“This was a great sequel to If I Stay. I loved how the author told it through Adam's perspective and told of the pain he went through. It was also great to learn and understand how the promise that Adam made to Mia while she was in her coma affected both of them. ”Mrs. Schroeder wrote this review Thursday, February 7, 2013.
