Adam Wilde Is in New York when he walks past a sign at SoHo that Mia Hall (His ex-girlfriend and narator of If I Stay) is performing and they meet up backstage and get one day to spend together before Adam has to go to Europe for his tour. He and Mia spark some old love and learn they both still love eachother even after three years of separation!

  • Mia Hall: The narrator of If I Stay. A cellist who went to Adam's high school. Mia's family was killed in a car crash three years previous to this book. Previously dated Adam for three years until they broke up after the car crash. She is now a well know cellist.
  • Adam Wilde: The narrator of Where She Went. He is suffering from anxiety linked to his break up with Mia and the death of her family. He is also under a lot of pressure from the media, and the members of his band. He loves Mia though she left him without explantion.
  • Bryn Shraeder: Add a description of this character.
  • Aldous: The manager for Adam's band Shooting Star. He is very accomodating, and does his best to cover all the problems that the band is having.
  • Liz: The band's creator. She is the one who recruited Adam, Mike and Fitz to form Shooting Star, and is considered to have the last say in it's matters. She's in love with Sarah. She's been described by Adam as being a 'strong, tough, butchy drummer.'
  • Vanessa: The probing reporter that sent Adam over the edge, and prompted him to visit Carnegie Hall.
  • Vanessa Legrande: Reporter from Shuffle who interviews Adam in New York City. Has done a lot of research on Adam and Shooting Star.
  • Ernesto: A mentor of Mia's
  • Kim: Mia's best friend. She has a passion for photography.
  • Teddy: Mia's baby brother. He died in the car crash featured in If I Stay
  • Kat: Mia's mother that died in the car crash featured in If I Stay
  • Denny: Mia's father that died in the car crash featured in If I Stay
  • Mike: Member of the band Shooting Star. Mike becomes jealous of Adam because Adam has become the main media focus.
