- Allen Walker: The main protagonist of the series. He is a 15 years old parasitic exorcist from Britain. He is friendly, warm-hearted, and dedicated to saving the tortured souls of akuma.
- Yu Kanda: He is a Japanese exorcist. Cold and rude, he is the first exorcist that Allen meets at the Black Order HQ. Since then, they have an on going hate between them. Calls Allen "bean sprout"
- Lenalee Lee: A female exorcist from China, Lenalee is the sister of chief officer Komui. She is very kind and cares strongly for anyone who is a friend or family. She considers the entire order of exorcists to be family.
- Komui Lee: Brother to Lenalee and chief officer at the Black Order HQ. Shifts from ridiculously comedic to professional at a moment's notice.
