Another smooth, romantic thriller by Nora Roberts. She only gets better and better and I appreciate the freshness of her books.

Didn’t Like It

I got to about Chapter 10 in this book and couldn't finish it. I'm a big fan of Nora, but I really didn't like this at all. I don't know if it had to do with first listening to the audio book up until Chapter 9 and then trying to finish it via the book. It was just too hard to see Phoebe and Duncan interacting together with what I was listening to.

This one surprised me. I didn't think I would like it, which is the reason it took me so long before I finally bought it. However, once I started I became deeply engrossed in the story. I think the only part that I felt was a bit contrived was the original meeting and bringing together of Duncan and Phoebe. After that the story line got very interesting and I was really suckered in as to who I thought was stalking Phoebe!

A page turner, mystery romance with individualistic charaters Pheobe and Duncan! A yet another good novel by Nora Roberts!

I gave this to a friend who was looking for books to read during summer vacation. She told me she had a stack to read and I told her there was no hurry to return this one. Yet it came back to me within four days--she loved it! I'm not sure she'd ever read a Nora Roberts book before. I'm guessing she'll be picking up many others.

I really enjoyed this one - like the Nora books of old that got me back into reading romantic suspense. Great hero/heroine dynamics, a good supporting cast of characters and the villian was a nice surprise.
